Trade, buildings and plural heritage
Mosul has long connected regional trade and cultural exchange. Lanes, courtyard houses, mosques and churches represent different communities and periods. Al-Nuri and the Hadba minaret, Our Lady of the Hour and Al-Tahera offer perspectives on religious buildings within the city. A list of denominations does not establish fixed relationships among communities.
